HBO Renews 'True Blood' for Season 5

Fangtastic news, Truebies! HBO has renewed its hit vampire series, True Blood, for Season 5.
The network announced Thursday that it has ordered 12 episodes from the Alan Ball-created and executive produced series. Season 5 will go into production later this year and air in 2012. To date, the current Season 4 has averaged 12.6 million viewers per episode.
